    Broome Car Rental

Once the pearling capital of the world, Broome is a quaint town which has become very popular with travellers from both Australia and around the world. Found on the coast of the Kimberley region, visitors will enjoy spectacular sights unique to the region. From exotic wildlife to amazing rock formations and beaches to gorges, there is so much to see and do.

With an abundance of National Parks, the area surrounding Broome is home to some amazing wildlife. Jump into your car hire and head out to one of the many water holes, home to crocodiles and rare species of birds; the region is a nature lover's delight. For those not game or simply not lucky enough to see the elusive crocodiles in the wild, head to Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park to come face to face with these amazing creatures and learn a little about them.

If the weather is hot drive up to Cable Beach, a great place for a swim to cool off, or ride a camel along the beach on one on the frequent tours throughout the day. Cable Beach stretches 22km in length with crystal clear waters; the beach is a setting for a sunset not to be forgotten. Gantheaume Point is another must-see destination, as at low tide dinosaur footprints can be found under the water line, some of these dating back over 130 million years.

Once the largest producer of pearls in the world, Broome has retained the pearling industry in its culture. About half an hour from the city center, Willie Creek Pearl Farm is a great way to learn about the history of pearls in the area, as well as seeing firsthand how it is done. Also giving an insight into the history of the pearl industry, the Japanese Cemetery is the resting place for over 900 Japanese divers who lost their lives to the elements in the first half of the 20th century. In the evening, a great way to unwind is by catching a movie at Sun Picture, a unique open-air cinema unlike any other.
