Refundable Excess & Breakdown Rate is our premium product which is a combination of two products: Refundable Excess Rate & Refundable Breakdown Rate.
You will be able to apply for a refund for expenses related to damaged windows, windscreen, roof, wheels, tyres, and the undercarriage of the rental vehicle, replacement keys, mis-fuelling, administration fees and loss or damage resulting from fire, theft, vandalism or adverse weather events. Also includes premium benefits such as towing expenses, refunds for unused rental days due to car damage, and support for damaged additional rental items (child seat, GPS, etc.). Notify Auto Europe of any incidents potentially leading to a refund under this Refundable Excess Rate by locating your reservation under Manage My Bookings. Select "Contact our Customer Service Team" located at the bottom of the page. The submission must be made within 150 days from the end of your rental. Not doing so may void this agreement.
We will require your rental documentation listed under ‘Refund Procedure’ on the PDF below.
If any documents are missing, Auto Europe will request them from the supplier. Providing complete information and documentation facilitates quicker processing. Requests for additional information or missing documents from suppliers have a minimum response time of 3 weeks.
